Started with an App, the "Hanky Spankys”. Wonder cheese and sausage on pumpernickel toast, just like Mom made for get togethers. The Top gun burger was their version of a smash burger. Great sauce, plenty of pickles, solid toasted bun. Loved it. Staff was on top of everything. Update: May 2025. Eating at the bar was weird and uncomfortable. Staff were leaning towards me washing glasses. When I leaned in to eat, it got weird because we were about 18 inches away from each other.
Best burger in town! Turf Club's got nothin on this place, hands down best tasting burger in Cincinnati I've had! Oh and they have Hankey Pankeys as an app and the cheese curds are amazing!!
First time we had ever been there. We came here for burger week. We had their specialty burgers (which were amazing) but also got the fries and onion rings (only had 1/2 of them on my plate for the picture.... The portions were huge) 10/10. We sat at the bar and Karen took care of us. She was super friendly and attentive! We will definitely be back.
A Burger week find! I am not sure I would have ever found this place if it's burger didn't sound so good on the burger week list. It lives up to the hype. Excellent patty and beer cheese. The crunchy pepper was a great way to add flavor. This is clearly a popular neighborhood pub and a very comfortable place to pop in for a beer or 3. We'll be back.
I went here for the first time with my mom and it was fantastic! I got the classic BLT with a side of fries and they both tasted fantastic. My mom got the fish and chips with a side of tots that were cooked perfectly. The atmosphere both outside and inside is great. we will definitely be coming back!
Fun atmosphere with popcorn in the lobby and two outdoor patios. They play great music too. Nice casual indoor dining. The BLT had a generous amount of bacon and very good, lightly toasted bread. The fries were the show stopper, tasting as great as Penn Station fries. The Philly Cheesesteak was just like a loosemeat sandwich. Ask to add peppers and onions if you want this to be like a real cheesesteak. I cant wait to come back and try more of the menu.
I don't think I've been here since the night I turned 21, many, many, many years ago. Well, I should have gone back sooner, this place is amazing! First off, the service is great, even for a busy Saturday night we never felt that we were being ignored. We were afraid that it would be loud because they were so crowded but we were able to find a quiet spot and were able to actually have a conversation.The food is wonderful. My wife enjoyed a burger, it was delicious. I had the chicken salad sandwich, and if you like chicken salad like I do, this is the sandwich for you. We also had the hanky pankys as an appetizer, they were spicy but still very good. Their prices are very reasonable.
Very lovely experience for lunch today. Everyone was so kind! The food was fantastic as well. Very good bar style food. The Philly was delicious and the wings piping hot! The onions rings were the kind that the onion doesn't immediately pull out of the breading after the first bite. Gotta love that! Very cute outdoor area covered with greenery to block the road view (they also have outdoor seating in the back).
